I want to thank everyone on the board of Union County supervisors for letting the wind turbines be erected in Union County.
As a photographer I feel they will destroy what was a beautiful landscape in our area. I don’t fault the farmer who is given such a lucrative deal, but I do think there is a balance in placing these monoliths all over the place.
The power of money has basically raped the resources of the land and its beauty. It’s been replaced with light flicker and noise. It would be nice to consider those who live near them for the peace that is, was, amongst us – the reasons we were drawn here. I will miss that atmosphere.
