The Creston News Advertiser is calling on the community’s support for its “Food for Friends” campaign.
As food pantries all across America are experiencing heavy usage with increased unemployment and under-employment surging due to the COVID-19 pandemic, more residents of our communities are in need. Because of this, the CNA has decided to help its friends by raising funds for the Creston Area Food Pantry.
Through May 31, monetary donations made through the campaign will be given to the Creston Area Food Pantry to help residents within the region who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have now surpassed our second goal of $10,000 thanks to the generous support of the community. As of today, we have raised $10,262
We’d like to recognize the following donations made over the past two weeks:
• A friend, $25
• Tim , Nancy, & Eli Loudon, $100
• Dick & Marilyn Engelson, $200
• A friend, $100
• In memory of : Kevin, Amy, Sterling, and Adrianna Sharp, $1000
• In honor of all caregivers, $50
