Jordan Lee Hoag, 29, 112 Manor Dr. Apt. 6, was charged with driving left of center, leaving the scene of an accident and use of electronic communication after an accident 11:38 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Spencer and South Sycamore streets.
According to a Creston Police report, Hoag stated he dropped his phone while driving a 2004 Ford north on South Sycamore Street. When he looked up he was on the wrong side of the street and was unable to correct before striking a parked 2000 Ford owned by LaHoma Reese. Hoag left the scene, driving approximately half a block before parking in a driveway.
Estimated damage was $2,000 to Reese’s vehicle and $1,500 to Hoag’s vehicle.
