Adair County sheriff

Kaylee Starr Carleton, 21, S.W. Jackson St., Greenfield, was charged on a Dallas County arrest warrant for the original charge of disorderly conduct — violent or fighting behavior 12:30 p.m. March 8 on the 2600 block of Henry A. Wallace Road.

Carleton was being held on $300 bond in the Adair County Jail.

Matthew John Harter, 37, S.E. Jackson St., Greenfield was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia 3:12 p.m March 10 at the Greenfield public square.

According to a Greenfield Police report, Harter dropped a marijuana pipe out of his pocket as an officer was passing him on the sidwalk. After further investigation, Harter was found to be in possession of marijuana and a marijuana grinder..

Harter was being held on $1,000 bond in the Adair County Jail..

Jordan Eugene Kralik, 34, of Creston was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault 8:59 a.m. March 10 at 3057 Adair-Union Street.

According to an Adair County Sheriff's report, Kralik pushed a female victim into the dumpster outside his residence and slapped the left side of her face. Kralik then grabbed her around the neck.

Kralik was being held on $300 cash bond in the Adair County Jail.

Kim Lei Planthaber, 54, of Moline, Illinois, was charged with operating a vehicle without owner's consent 4:56 p.m Saturday in Casey.

According to an Adair County Sheriff's report, Planthaber was identified walking eastbound on Interstate 80 near the 81 mile marker. She was observed carrying a pillow and a purse and also only had one shoe on. Officers said Planthaber was confused regarding her whereabouts. Upon further investigation, officers said Planthaber displayed signs of intoxication. After contacting a family member of Planthaber, it was revealed she had taken off with a relative's rental car without informing anyone. Planthaber's family had reported it stolen and said she had been recently using narcotics. Additionally, Planthaber was cited for driving without a valid driver's license.

Planthaber was being held on $2,000 bond in the Adair County Jail..
