“This was by far one of our best games of the season even though we lost,” Creston coach Mendy McCreight said. “We played a very physical game. We had a lot of great steals on our press but had troubles getting the ball to fall in the basket. We scored 15 points in the fourth quarter and got within six, but just couldn’t gain anymore. We played all four quarters as good as we played all year.”

Shenandoah won the B game, 12-9. Scoring for Creston included Kylie Metheny with three points and two each by Taylor Smith, Carley Zollman and Jaq Kenyon. Zoey Vandevender had a team-high four rebounds, with Metheny and Zollman each grabbing three. Kenyon had a steal.
