Dolecheck, Hoakison head to bowling state tournament

Mount Ayr and Lenox will be represented at the Iowa High School State Bowling Tournament Monday in the Class 1A meet.

The meet will be at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo, starting at 10 a.m., and will be co-ed with both the boys and girls competing at the same time.

In lanes nine and 10 are Mount Ayr’s Kaitlyn Dolecheck and Lenox’s Chelsey Hoakison, representing the Pride of Iowa.

Teams and individuals will bowl two games of ten-pin. Those scores will be tallied to determine the Individual Champion and place winners. Teams will then enter into the Baker Games. At the conclusion, team totals will be tallied to determine the Team Champion.
