VILLISCA – During the holiday break, Lora Top, Southwest Valley Middle School principal, submitted her resignation.
Top’s resignation, which was submitted Dec. 19, was approved unanimously by the Villisca School Board in a 5-0 vote. The board has selected Lee Haidsiak as interim middle school principal for the remainder of the school year and will vote to approve Haidsiak during its meeting 9 am today.
