Iowa 21st District Representative Tom Moore and Iowa 12th District Senator Tom Shipley to visit Creston to visit the area schools Monday at 12 p.m.
The representatives will begin with a luncheon at Spencer’s with members of the Union County Development Association, Creston Chamber of Commerce, Creston Community School Board, Creston City Council and Board of Supervisors at noon.
After the luncheon, the representatives will visit the middle school at 1 p.m., the elementary at 1:30 p.m. and the high school at 2:15 p.m. During this time, the officials will meet with staff and students and tour the facilities, which will be followed by a community meeting at 3:15 p.m.
