No citations were issued after an accident 9:35 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of N. Sumner Ave. and W. Adams St.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, Kyle Krantz, 42, of Creston was driving a 2005 Ford north on Sumner Avenue and stopped to wait for traffic so that he could turn left. Myrna Beving, 68, of Kent was driving a 2011 GMC behind Krantz and did not notice Krantz’s vehicle had stopped, hitting the rear end of the Ford.
Estimated damage was $800 to Krantz’s Ford and $800 to Beving’s GMC.

No citations were issued after an accident 6:16 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Union and North Douglas streets.
According to a Union County Sheriff report, Leviticus Exline, 17, of Afton was driving a 2001 Toyota north on on Douglas Street and slowed down to allow the vehicle in front of him could turn left onto Union Street. Alexia Neisemier, 18, of Lorimor was driving a 2005 Pontiac behind Exline and did not notice traffic stopping, causing Neisemier to collide with the rear end of Exline’s vehicle.
Estimated damage was $1,500 to Exline’s Toyota and $3,500 to Neisemier’s Pontiac.
