Samantha Hays, 34, 405 S. Oak St., was charged on a Union County warrant for an original charge of violation of a protection order 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Union County Law Enforcement Center.
According to a Creston Police report, Hays admitted to having a conversation with a victim with whom Hays had a no-contact order.
Hays was released from the Union County Jail on a promise to appear.
