Wesley Gregg, 37, 1501 N. Lincoln St., was charged on a Union County warrant for the original charge of second-degree burglary 9:59 a.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of North Elm Street.

Gregg was being held in the Union County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Jennifer Beard, 39, 612 W. Mills St., was charged with violation of a no contact order 4:17 p.m. Wednesday at her residence.

According to a Creston Police report, a victim reported that Beard had been repeatedly attempting to contact them despite a no contact order having been placed on Oct. 30. Beard sent the victim texts from numerous apps and left several voicemail messages when the victim wouldn’t respond. Beard claimed she did not violate the no contact order on the grounds that the victim never replied.

Beard is being held in the Adams County Jail awaiting an appearance before the magistrate.

Brenda Dillenburg, 500 N. Stone St., reported someone had broken a window out of her vehicle and taken a wallet from inside sometime during the night Tuesday at her residence.

Estimated loss and damage of $220.
