Walters retires from CCES, joins Stewart in realty business

After teaching art at Creston Community Elementary School for 35 years, Shari Walters of Creston has become a real estate agent and joined her father Stew Stewart in the realty business, which he has been in for more than 30 years.

Walters was raised in Creston and said, as a hometown girl, she has a love for the community and the people in southwest Iowa. She is married to John Walters and the couple has two children, Taylor and Maxx, who they raised in Creston. She said her children are grown and have moved away, but will always call Creston their home.

“I am excited about this new venture and I would love to help you find your new home,” Walters said.
