Unofficial election results released

Unofficial results were tabulated and released by the Adair County Auditor’s Office Tuesday night for the city/school election.

Jimmie A. Schultz unofficially defeated incumbent Ron Smith for Greenfield mayor 370 votes to 22. Rod McMorran (332) and Joshua Nelson (247) were elected to city council. Holly Dullard received 68 votes.

Mary Sturdy-Martin received 70 votes, defeating incumbent Ryan Cooper (47) for Fontanelle mayor. For city council, the three elected to serve were Dixie Dukes (95), James Campbell (94) and John Huddleson (71). Marlene Davis received 35 votes.

Orient had no candidates for mayor but 41 write-ins were received. For city council, Gary R. Metzger (50 votes) and Josh Madison (38) ran unopposed. Clarissa Pashek received 51 votes to fill a vacancy.

In Bridgewater, all running unopposed for city council, Kristen Walker received 25 votes, Haley Williams 23 and Debra J. Tindle 24. Roberta Carpenter received 25 votes for mayor in an uncontested race.

In Stuart, Michael Kalbach received 58 votes and Kristina A. Renslow 39 for city council.

Randy Carney (104) and Dallas Dinkla (97) ran unopposed for Adair-Casey School Board.

Rebecca McCann (504) and Susan Stevens (444) ran unopposed for Nodaway Valley School Board.

Jana Scott (79) and Eldon Ray (75) each ran unopposed for Orient-Macksburg School Board.
