Creston freshman volleyball lost to St. Albert Tuesday night in two full sets.
The Panthers dropped the first two sets 25-13 and 25-22 before time shortened the third set. When play was halted, the score was 5-5.
“We played our best volleyball despite the defeat,” said head coach Mike McCabe. “Our focus and court presence was as good as it’s been. I was proud of how we stepped up and competed.”
Jacy Kralik was 6-for-6 on serves and Aleah Calvin led in kills with four. Harlee Flynn also had two kills.
Kralik aded four digs to her stat line Tuesday night.
