Kiwanis

The weekly Kiwanis meeting was held 12:05 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10 at the Pizza Ranch meeting room with 21 members and two guests. President Terry Freeman presided, Sandy Hysell did the prayer and Joe Powers was the finemaster.

Members now have Pork Chop tickets and signed up at the meeting to work the fundraiser. The Pork Chop Dinner is being held Thursday, Sept.19 from 4:30-7 p.m. at McKinley Park. Take out and Drive up will be available. Get your tickets from any Kiwanis Member in Advance for $8 the night of the event the price is $10.

Program was Kayla Hoffman, Director of Marketing and Communications for Greater Regional Hospital. She updated the club on new doctors and personnel added in the last 6 months, construction updates and activities for better outreach to the communities the hospital serves. The hospital was just selected as a top 20 hospital in the Nation and will receive the award later this year.
