Historian Kathy Wilson will present “Fashions to Die For,” her look at clothing of the past that focuses on attire that was dangerous and, at times, deadly. Kathy is an expert on European social history with an emphasis on material culture. Program at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 11.

Historian Linda McCann will deliver her program on “Prohibition in Iowa.” Linda is a strong expert on Iowa history and has published many books on state history topics and is currently working on a history of Iowa’s female workforce during World War II. Program at 6 p.m., Oct. 7.

Dr. Jesse Bolinger will discuss his recent publication, “Calling All Volunteers,” and will have copies available for sale. Jesse is a Creston native who holds a PhD in public service management with a specialization in non-profit organizations. Program at 6 p.m., Oct.16.
