Christopher James Miller, 29, of Mount Ayr was charged on a Ringgold County warrant for violation of a protective order 8:15 p.m. Aug 14 on Washington Street in Diagonal.
According to a Ringgold County Sheriff’s report, Miller left a handwritten note on the victim’s car after being issued a no contact order. The note stated that Miller did not want the victim to be arrested, telling her that he loves her and that they cannot talk because there is a no contact order in place.
Miller was released on his promise to appear.
