Polly Wright

Polly Wright, 74, of Aurora, Colorado formerly of Orient, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Private family graveside Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday July 19, 2019 at Graceland Cemetery in Creston. The Rev. Jim Morris will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials can be given to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.

Polly Ann (Kinkennon) Recoy Wright was born March 30, 1945, in Creston, to Louise Fern (Calvin) Kinkennon and Richard Leon Kinkennon. Polly attended Creston Community Schools.

In March of 1967, Polly married Virgil Neil and they settled in Creston. Virgil died in 1979. Polly worked at Getz Plastics for a short time before beginning working for Wellman Dynamics/Fansteel for 20 years. Polly married Ted Recoy on March 30, 1982. He later passed away.

On June 27, 2006, Polly married Kenneth Blaine Wright in Creston where they settled. They later moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas prior to Kenneth’s passing.

Polly is survived by her sister, Janet (husband Wayne) Norris of Aurora, Colorado.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Virgil, Ted and Kenneth; sister Susan Lovenguth; and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
