Gregory Lee Kaufman, 62, 122 Manor Dr. No. 4, was charged with second offense operating while intoxicated 9:01 a.m. Friday on Manor Drive and public intoxication 3:05 p.m. Saturday at 903 N. Sumner Ave.
According to a Creston Police report, Kaufman had an open beer and an empty liquor bottle in a vehicle he was operating. He admitted to drinking alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. Kaufman refused to submit to field sobriety tests Friday.
Saturday, Kaufman was sitting in the passenger seat of his car on Sumner Avenue. He had an open container of beer. Kaufman had difficulty standing, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol on his breath. He refused field sobriety tests and was transported to the Union County Law Enforcement Center where his blood alcohol measured .296.
Kaufman was released on $2,000 bond on the OWI charge and released after an appearance before the magistrate on the public intoxication charge.

Lacie Danielle Davis, 37, of Washington was charged with fifth degree theft 2:20 p.m. Friday at 806 Laurel St.
According to a Creston Police report, Davis attempted to take merchandise from Walmart without paying but was stopped by Walmart staff.
Davis was cited and released on scene.

Dustin James Seley, 40, 422 Livingston St., was charged with first offense trespassing 12:55 p.m. Saturday at 404 N. Oak St.
Seley was cited and released on scene.

Hyvis O. Thatcher, 44, 814 W. Jefferson St., was charged on a Madison County warrant for an original charge of fifth degree theft 10:35 a.m. Saturday.
Thatcher was released on $300 bond.

Brodie Lee Pingree, 32, 418 Livingston St., was charged on a Union County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree criminal mischief 1:46 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Highway 34 and South Elm Street.
Pingree was being held on $2,000 bond.

Tashina Lee Martwick, 33, of Redding was charged with third offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia 10:05 a.m. Sunday at 1007 N. Cherry St.
According to a Creston Police report, Martwick admitted to taking acid and methamphetamine. A methamphetamine spoon with crystalline substance on it and methamphetamine pipe were found inside the residence. Possible LSD tabs were sent to the lab for identification.
The possession of a controlled substance charges were dismissed for lack of probable cause.
Martwick was being held on $300 bond.

Jason Lee Johnson, 36, 1007 N. Cherry St., was charged with third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and assault on persons in certain occupations 12:45 p.m. Monday.
According to a Creston Police report, Johnson overdosed on LSD and methamphetamine and was transported to Greater Regional Health. A methamphetamine spoon with a crystalline substance on it and a methamphetamine pipe were found inside the residence. Johnson urinated on a victim, a Creston Fire Department employee.
Johnson was released on $6.300 bond.

Bailey Mark Harrison, 22, 605 N. Cherry St., and Tylor Jay Rains, 19, of Humeston were both charged with fifth degree theft 7:49 p.m. Monday at 806 Laurel St.
According to a Creston Police report, Harrison admitted to taking headphones and a charger from Walmart. Rains admitted taking phone cases, headphones and ear phones.
Harrison and Rains were both cited on scene and released on their promise to appear.

Tommie Lynne O’Neall, 20, 603 N. Cherry St., was charged with first offense trespassing 8:03 p.m. at 806 Laurel St.
According to a Creston Police report, O’Neall was seen on video footage at Walmart after being barred from Walmart and signing a trespassing form acknowledging this.
O’Neall was cited on scene and released on her promise to appear.
