ORIENT – Kids, ages 10-13, can learn cooking skills from professional chefs during the Cooking for Kids culinary class from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday and Tuesday, June 17-18, at Henry A. Wallace Country Life Center. Chefs Katie Porter and Sarah Mathiews will lead hands-on activities, such as basic knife skills and discussions about food safety and nutrition. The class will also include preparing lunch.
