The 109th Annual Shannon City Alumni Banquet met Saturday, May 25, with 35 alumni and guests attending.
Alumni attending were: ‘44 Loren Gehrke of Clarksdale, Missouri; ‘45 Melba Woosley Akers of Creston; ‘46 Verla Swinehart Fitzgerald of Nevada; ‘47 Jack Hoffman of Afton; ‘48 Athea Means Hoffman of Afton; ‘49 Donna Ruckman Berdine of Creston; ‘50 Dick Ide of Shannon City; ‘52 Bob Arnold of Shannon City, John Land of Afton and Dick Ross of Creston; ‘53 Shirley Woosley Ide of Shannon City; ‘54 Ron Jones of Afton; ‘57 Jerry Hoffman of Urbandale; ‘58 Ella Jean Eklund of Urbandale; ‘59 Bonnie Ergenbright Baker, Karolyn Ergenbright Fletcher of Creston and Ann Comer Sanson of Orange City; and ‘60 Linda Foy James of Creston.

The 110th banquet will be held May 23, 2020, at the Eagles Club. The classes of ‘59 and ‘60 will be in charge of that banquet.
