Crest Area Theatre has announced the cast for its upcoming production, “The Music Man – Concert Version.”
“The Music Man” tells the story of the fictional River City, Iowa, a con man who comes to sell a boy’s band to the people of the town and the piano teacher who tries to expose his deception. The songs and live orchestra behind this classic show will take center stage in the concert version presentation. The show, produced as a part of Creston’s sesquicentennial celebration, is free and open to the public 6 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at the McKinley Park bandshell.
The cast includes many talented people from Creston, Murray, Mount Ayr, Osceola, Afton, Greenfield and Diagonal.
