VFW Post 1797 Commander Gary O’Daniels has announced the following schedule for Creston’s Memorial Day services:
• 8:30 a.m. – DAR program at McKinley Park Veteran’s Memorial
• 9:30 a.m. – Memorial Day service at Cavalry Cemetery
•10:45 a.m. – Memorial Day service at Graceland Cemetery
• noon – Memorial Day services at Greenlawn Cemetery in Afton
The Memorial Day speaker for Creston will be the Rev. Mary O’Riley. In the event of inclement weather, services at Cavalry, Graceland and Greenlawn cemeteries will not be held.
