The Lead UC Initiative Board of Directors announced the graduation of the youth leadership programs. The Lead UC Youth Leadership program graduated 16 students from Creston and East Union high schools. This program consists of the students working together and participating in various leadership workshops, field trips, as well as a year-end project that brings both programs together for a final project. Mary Overholtzer and Jacob Lister act as facilitators for the youth program.

Lead UC Youth is a program of Union County Development Association. The Leadership Initiative is led by a growing list of alumni and other community volunteers. For more information about this topic, contact Mindy Stalker at 641-782-2003 or email at mstalker@unioncountyiowa.com.
