Morningside College

SIOUX CITY – Morningside College in Sioux City presented bachelor’s degrees to undergraduate students during its spring commencement held May 11. Grant Staats of Ellston earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics education.

Morningside is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts college with a total enrollment of 2,700 students. Morningside College offers five bachelor’s degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Music Education and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Morningside also offers a Master of Arts in teaching degree and a Master of Science in nursing degree.

Graceland University

LAMONI – Graduates from around the country and around the world earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Graceland University, celebrated in a ceremony on April 28 in Lamoni.

Local students to earn this achievement are listed below:

• Julie Neas of Kellerton graduated with a Master of Education in instructional leadership

• Weston Schnoor of Mount Ayr graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in art: graphic design

• Erin Dolecheck of Kellerton graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in accounting, agricultural business, business administration, economics and mathematics

• Nathan Haley of Creston graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in recreation

• Molly Hennigar of Fontanelle graduated with a Master of Science in nursing (family nurse practitioner)

• Nathan Roberts of Mount Ayr graduated with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and information technology
