Area churches in Union and Taylor counties joined together in each county again to host ecumenical Lenten services. All people are welcome to attend.
The Union County worship service will be at noon Good Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 107 W. Howard St., in Creston with the Rev. Jim Morris as guest speaker. Offerings will be given to MATURA Friendship fund.
Lenox Ministerial Association will hold their Maundy Thursday service 7 p.m. Thursday at Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church, 103 East St., in Sharpsburg with the Rev. Tim Maxa giving the message. The Good Friday Service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Clearfield Methodist Church, 201 S. Monroe St., in Clearfield with the Rev. Mike Shaffer speaking.
