First National Bank mortgage team receives Silver Achievement Award from IBMC

The First National Bank (FNB) mortgage team received a surprise visit last month.

On Feb. 26, mortgage lenders, Emily Rice and Jenna Greene, received a Silver Unit Achievement Award from Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation (IBMC). This award, hand delivered by management with IBMC, was given to FNB for closing the second most Heritage loans through IBMC in 2018.

“This award is our way of recognizing and thanking banks like yours and others around the state who utilize our services,” said Nathan Smithey, vice president production with IBMC. “We give awards based on volume and we also give awards based on units or number of loans closed. We’re happy to see Creston, and that area of the state, using our program,”

Some of the IBMC secondary market mortgage products that FNB offers customers include Federal Housing Administration, Rural Development, RuraLiving, Veterans Affairs and conventional loans. With this relationship through IBMC, FNB customers can receive excellent fixed-rate mortgages and the assistance IBMC provides helps expedite the processing, underwriting and closing of your loan.

“We have an excellent working relationship with IBMC,” Greene said. “They offer a wide variety of products with the biggest advantage to us being that we can offer our customers long term fixed rates and low down payment loans.”

For anyone in the market to buy a home or refinance this spring, contact Rice or Greene.
