Relay For Life team bank night will be Sept. 26

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Southwest Iowa “Cruising For a Cure” along with the “Cancer Sucks” car show will take place Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Creston Community High School track. The entire community is invited to come out and join in a celebration for cancer survivors, remember those lost to the disease and take action to save more lives from cancer.

The Relay For Life team bank night will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, at First National Bank, 801 W. Taylor St., in Creston. Teams can turn in fundraising money, pick up their participant shirts and purchase luminaria. Survivors can come to pick up their survivor shirts. Anyone wanting information on the relay or to purchase luminaria is welcome to stop.

Luminaria forms and bags are available now at First National Bank - Creston and Afton, Creston News Advertiser, ISSB, TS Bank in Corning and PCSB. Free will donation is asked per luminaria, with a $5 per luminaria suggested donation. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.
