Free Press and Observer offices relocating July 18

The Adair County Free Press and Fontanelle Observer will be relocating, effective Wednesday, July 18, to 206 NE Court, Greenfield, the newspapers’ leaders announced recently.

The new location will remain open with its current business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

News editor Caleb Nelson reports the new location, which is just off the northeast corner of the Greenfield Public Square, will be an adjustment, though he thinks the building will be a good fit.

“I am excited for us to move into our new location. We love being in the heart of Greenfield and feel that this new location will be an even better fit for our needs all around,” Nelson said. “We’re excited to keep marching on as smiling local faces who strive to bring readers the best news and sports coverage that we can as well as bringing our clients cutting edge marketing solutions. ”

Rich Paulsen, who serves as Publisher of the Creston News-Advertiser, Osceola Sentinel-Tribune and the two Adair County newspapers, is excited for future.

“We were currently leasing our present location and were able to find a better fitting building at less cost. We were fortunate to find a nice building on the square to move our operations into,” Paulsen said. “A big thank you to the Adair County area for the wonderful first year of operation. We appreciate all our readers and business supporters. We look to be here for a long time!”
