Doris Rinehart

Doris Rinehart, 85, of Fontanelle died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Fontanelle Cemetery in Fontanelle. The Rev. Cathy Nutting will officiate. Everyone is invited to Fontanelle United Methodist Church immediately following the graveside service for fellowship and brunch. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Doris Rinehart memorial fund to be determined later. Steen Funeral Home, 525 Maple St., in Fontanelle is in charge of the professional arrangements. Doris Lillian Rinehart, daughter of Hershel and Alice (Darling) Van Fleet, was born Feb. 3, 1933, in Milford Township in Crawford County. Doris attended school in Gordon, Nebraska.

On June 3, 1950, she married Donald G. Rinehart.

Doris is survived by her children, Stephen P. Rinehart, Donna L. (Bill) Miller and Kathy Jo (Mike) Larimore; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 1996, son James Rinehart, brother Kenneth Van Fleet and sister Rosemary (Donald) Rivers.
