Bomgaars Supply, a farm and ranch chain based in Sioux City, has completed renovation of the former Farm & Home Supply building in Creston and is now open for business.
With 17 employees hired from the local area, the 50,000 square-foot store is located at 408 S. Sumner Ave. in Creston. Wendy Toogood, store manager, will be hosting an official grand opening celebration scheduled to begin Thursday, May 24, and run through Sunday, May 27, with special pricing and lots of prizes to win. Creston Chamber of Commerce will be at the store for a ribbon cutting event 11 a.m. Thursday, May 24.
Bomgaars is a fourth-generation company, privately owned by Roger and Jane Bomgaars. The corporate office and distribution center is headquartered in Sioux City, where the company originated in 1952.
