Jason Brown to perform country concert

CORNING – The first concert of the 2018 season will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Corning Opera House Cultural Center starring country music recording artist, Jason Brown.

Brown has performed for thousands of country music fans across the Midwest and is an up and coming, innovative artist. Five of his songs have been on the Billboard Country Charts: “Momma Was a Rebel,” “Touchdown,” “I’d Love You to Hate You,” “You Don’t Play Fair” and “We’re All In the Same Boat.” Brown has performed with country’s leading artists including Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Luke Bryan and others.

Being raised in the country and working with his grandpa on the farm made country music a natural fit. Brown’s music combines musical and vocal excellence while proclaiming a love of all things in the Midwest. Corning Opera House is located at 800 Davis Ave. in Corning with free parking and is handicapped accessible. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 the day of the show for adults. Students are $5 in advance or $10 the day of the show. The doors will open 30 minutes before the show starts and concessions are available.

Corning Opera House’s large auditorium, horseshoe balcony and great acoustics are a perfect background for live entertainment.
