Gene Armstrong, 84, of Victorville, California, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2017 in Victorville, California.

Interment was in Desert View Memorial Park in Victorville, California.

Gene was raised in Fontanelle.

Gene is survived by his wife Mary Lou Tilk Armstrong; children, Randy, Nancy and Scott; grandchildren, Tamara, Travis and Tracey; great-grandchildren, Evan, Marissa, Hunter and Riley; sisters-in-law, Delores Lahey, Virginia Dickerson of Greenfield and Phyllis Johnson of Des Moines; brother-in-law Don Tilk of Bullhead City, Arizona; and nieces, nephews and cousins from Iowa and California.

Gene was preceded in death by his grandson Nickolas in 2013.
