Roelene Lundy

Roelene Lundy, 64, of Greenfield died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Celebration of life services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Steen Funeral Home, 101 SE Fourth St., in Greenfield with burial in Greenfield Cemetery. The Rev. Eric Schubert officiated. Visitation was from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, at the funeral home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Roelene Lundy memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date. Roelene Lundy was born Dec. 25, 1952, in Greenfield. Roelene was raised in Greenfield and graduated from Greenfield High School. After high school, she worked and then owned Don Carlos Abstract.

Roelene married Scott Lundy.

Roelene is survived by her husband Scott Lundy of Greenfield; son Benjamin Russell Lundy of Greenfield; brothers, Ted Funke of Creston, Dean Funke of Greenfield and Larry Funke (Saundra) of Des Moines; sister Charlene (Patrick) Scheal of Altoona; other relatives and friends.

Roelene was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Eva Funke; brother Gene Funke; sister Jolene Kaloides and nephew Ben Funke.
