An aquatics consultant retained by the city of Creston will hold a two-day workshop to bring the community together to begin the initial planning process for a pool renovation. This workshop provides the opportunity for a volunteer aquatics committee, city staff and the general public to interactively provide input for possible improvements to the facility. There are open sessions for the general public to attend from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, and from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13.
The potential design workshop will take place Sept. 12 and 13 at the Creston City Council Chambers on the second floor of the restored Creston Depot, at 116 W. Adams St.
The event is free to attend and no RSVP is required.
