HOW LONG HAVE YOU WORKED IN THE RECORDER'S OFFICE? Since April 16, 2012

WHEN WERE YOU SWORN IN AS RECORDER? Monday

WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB? I think just working with the public and interacting and getting to know people. I wasn't born and raised here, so I think every day just meeting someone new and trying to pick up trying to remember names and faces. So the customer interactions.

WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME? Pretty much everything, like recreation. We go hunting, fishing. We play co-ed volleyball with the city. Golfing. And, as of lately, we spend a lot of time with our daughter.

BEST PLACE TO HUNT AND FISH: We used to go to Three Mile, and that's where my husband and I had our first fishing date, and we got engaged there. But I would say right now fishing is better elsewhere. I would say for hunting we go to Talmage Hill. We have a good farmer friend in Ringgold County and he lets us hunt there.

WHAT'S THE BEST ANIMAL YOU'VE HUNTED? I shot my first buck in 2013, and it's on the wall now. It had a drop tine, which is a big deal. I think it's a big deal, so that was probably my best.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU AND COREY BEEN HUNTING AND FISHING? My husband has been doing it since he was a kid. And I can't say I did any hunting before I met him, so six years ago I started.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF CAMO? Typically it's just the oversized stuff my husband's already bought that I try to wear. I don't buy anything for myself.

WHAT DO YOU USE TO HUNT? I just do early muzzle loader when I go deer hunting. And then turkey hunting with a shotgun. My husband said I can't bow hunt until we can shoot something from our backyard. He won't teach me how to do it. But someday.

ANY PLANS FOR THE SUMMER? We actually just got back from Chicago. We went to Wrigley Field for a couple games with our friends and went into the Willis Tower, they call it now, and Navy Pier, which I'd never done before. Other than that, just a couple weddings, a couple family reunions.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE COOLEST MOMENT WITH YOUR DAUGHTER? I think probably the first time you could tell she smiled because she wanted to, probably at two months, two and a half months. And she's got such a cute little smile.

DID YOU PLAY SPORTS IN HIGH SCHOOL? I did. I played basketball, volleyball and I golfed. And then I played basketball at Buena Vista for four years.

COFFEE OR TEA? Neither. I wish, 'cause I need something in the morning. Unfortunately I have about a soda a day.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE KIND OF SODA? Cherry Coke Zero
