Strofaci to be SWCC full-time track and field coach

Jordan Strofaci has been hired as head track and field coach for the Southwestern Community College track and field teams for the 2017-18 season.

Strofaci has served this past year as assistant track and field and assistant cross country coach, as well as a residence hall coordinator for the college.

He also assumed duties as interim head track and field coach upon the departure of former coach Nick Ekel.

Strofaci completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science with a minor in strength and conditioning/fitness management at Northwestern College in Orange City. He was named captain of the Raiders track and field team two years and received numerous other athletic and community honors while at Northwestern.

Prior to employment at Southwestern, Jordan was employed as a personal trainer for Rise n’ Fly Sports and assistant coach — track and field and cross country — for Lakeside High School in Lake Elsinore, California. He is also the Co-Founder and Director of Marketing of Elite Athlete Products Incorporated, based out of San Diego.
