Paramore and Flo Rida to round out Iowa State Fair Grandstand line-up

DES MOINES – The Iowa State Fair rounds out the 2017 Grandstand line-up with something for everyone to enjoy. Aug. 14 will showcase alternative pop-rock bands Paramore with special guest X Ambassadors and Aug. 15 welcomes rapper Flo Rida. Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, May 5, through www.etix.com or by calling 800-514-3849.

Tickets for Paramore with special guest X Ambassadors will cost $60, $50 and $40. Tickets for Flo Rida will cost $45, $32 and $27. Ticket prices vary depending on location of seats in the Grandstand. All concert events are reserved seating. Convenience charges apply to tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include fair admission, but discounted advanced admission tickets are available at www.iowastatefair.org.

Paramore is an award-winning, alternative pop-rock band formed in 2003. Popular songs include “Misery Business,” “Crushcrushcrush,” “That’s What You Get,” “Still Into You” and “Ain’t It Fun.” Paramore has taken home multiple Teen Choice Awards, People’s Choice Awards, NME Awards and a Grammy Award. The band recently wrote and recorded their fifth album, “After Laughter,” which will be released May 12. Their latest single “Hard Times” is out everywhere.

Internationally known, American rapper Flo Rida has won multiple awards including People’s Choice, Teen Choice and an International Dance Music Award. Popular hits include “Low,” “My House,” “GDFR,” “Whistle,” “Right Round” and “Club Can’t Handle Me.” In December 2016, Flo Rida released his single “Cake” which serves as the lead single from his upcoming album.
