Noah Caplinger

Noah Caplinger, 11 days old, of Afton died Monday, March 27, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.

Celebration of life memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, at Powers Funeral Home, 612 N. Dodge St., in Afton. The Rev. Joel Sutton will officiate. Memorial visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 2, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to the family for a later contribution to University of Iowa research program on bilateral renal agenesis. Online condolences may be left at www.powersfh.com.

Noah Aaron Caplinger, son of Amanda Grace Ayers and Aubrey Ray Caplinger, was born March 16, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Noah is survived by his parents, Amanda Ayers and Aubrey Caplinger of Afton; siblings, Ethan and Shawn Ayers, Jaelynn and Jasmine Caplinger, all of Afton, Justin Caplinger of Norwalk, Eryka, Isabella and Ryan Caplinger all of Manistique, Michigan; grandparents, Betty Hagen of Afton, Richard Tucker of Creston and Ray (Elizabeth) Caplinger of Melcher; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other family.
