Tony Gordon Catalano, 57, of Thayer died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at HCI Hospice Home in Creston.

Tony Gordon Catalano, son of Woody (Elwood) Gordon Catalano and Gloria (Martin) Catalano, was born Aug. 15, 1959, in Van Nuys, California. Tony grew up and went to school at Van Nuys High School in Van Nuys, California. He moved to Thayer in 1993. He worked at Miller Products in Osceola for 22 years as a machine operator.
Tony was married to his ex-wife Tracy Ellen (Spencer) Catalano for around 10 years.
Tony is survived by his parents, Woody and Gloria Catalano of Banning, California; sister Tracy of California; brother Terry Catalano of Massachusetts; children, Kevin Gordon Catalano of Osceola and Nicole Ellen (Catalano) Burgus of Murray; grandchildren, Emma Taylor of Webster City, Dillyliah, Breeanna and Raylinn Catalano of Osceola, and Zane and Zeb Burgus of Murray; cats, Princess and Dutchess; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dorothy Catalano and Violet Martin.
