DES MOINES – Country icon Alabama; Canadian grunge rock band Nickelback; and Christian sensations For King & Country with special guest Matt Maher will hit the stage at the 2017 Iowa State Fair as a part of the Iowa State Fair Grandstand concert line-up presented by U.S. Cellular. A pre-holiday on-sale is planned for the first three concerts announced. This will be the earliest the Iowa State Fair has ever put Grandstand tickets on sale.
• For King & Country with special guest Matt Maher will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. Tickets will cost $30, $35 and $45.
• Nickelback will be 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11. Tickets will cost $52, $62 and $72.
• Alabama will be 8 p.m. Thursday, August 17. Tickets will cost $42, $47 and $57.
The Iowa State Fair will be staggering on-sale dates for Grandstand shows. All shows will be announced via our website, e-newsletter, social media and news releases once they are finalized and the shows will go on sale shortly after each announce date. Ticket prices will vary depending on location of seats in the Grandstand. Information on individual concerts will be available at iowastatefair.org/on-stage/grandstand/ as acts are announced.
All three concert tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at www.etix.com or 800-514-3849. All concert events are reserved seating. Convenience charges apply to all tickets. Grandstand tickets do not include Fair admission, but advanced admission tickets are also available at www.iowastatefair.org.
