Greater Regional welcomes back provider

Greater Regional Medical Center (GRMC) announces Crystal Johnson, MSN, ARNP, has rejoined the GRMC staff in December. She will work in GRMC with the internal medicine division. Johnson previously provided family medicine at Lenox Medical Clinic, a partner with GRMC from 2011 to 2014.

“After working in family medicine the past five years, I am excited about moving into the specialty of internal medicine,” Johnson said. “I look forward to rejoining the team of health-care professionals at GRMC.”

Johnson is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. She next obtained her master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Graceland University. She is board certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to rejoining GRMC, Johnson was in solo practice at the Family Health Clinic and Graceland University Student Health program in Lamoni.

Johnson has 25 years of experience in medical and surgical nursing and has also been a nursing instructor for Kaplan University in Urbandale.
