Greater Regional welcomes radiologist Joshua Holliday

Greater Regional Medical Center (GRMC) is pleased to announce Joshua B. Holliday, MD, recently joined the GRMC medical staff on July 15 and will provide full-time radiologist coverage for the Greater Regional radiology department.

Holliday, originally from New Orleans, grew up in a small community, Theodore, Alabama, just outside Mobile.

“We want our children to grow up in a community where they know their neighbors,” Holliday said regarding the move to Creston.

He is also looking forward to working with the medical community at GRMC.

Holliday obtained his Bachelor’s of Science degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2000 and his Physician Assistant degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in 2002. He practiced as a physician assistant in the orthopedics department at Ochsner Clinic in Baton Rouge from 2002 to 2006. He obtained his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2010.

Holliday completed an internship in surgery at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida. He also completed an MRI fellowship program at the University of Rochester Medical Center, in Rochester, New York.

Holliday will live in Creston with his family. An open house to welcome Holliday to the community will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in the Medical Arts Plaza conference room. The public is invited to attend and welcome him to the community.
