Suzanne Rae (Wurster) Kinyon was born June 12, 1951, in Creston, the daughter of Russell Wurster and Irene (Hewitt) Wurster. She grew up attending school in Lenox and then went on to Indian Hills Community College to become a key punch operator.
On Sept. 2, 1978, Suzanne was united in marriage to Robert “Bobby” Moore, who was later killed in a car accident on Nov. 4, 1979. Bobby was preceded in death by their stillborn son, Robert Moore, Jr. on March 24, 1980. Suzanne moved to Texas where she married Paul Kinyon on June 29, 1984. Together they had one daughter, Wendy Kinyon, on Dec. 14, 1984. The family moved back to Creston in 1987, and the couple later divorced. Over the years, Suzanne worked in Chicago and Naples, Florida, and Creston as a key punch operator. She was a title clerk in Alamo, Texas, and at M&M Motors in Creston. She was fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom while she was married to Paul. She was a member of Lenox United Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Wendy Kinyon of Creston; a stepdaughter, Tonya Glenn and husband Tony of Osceola; a stepson, Jamie Kinyon and wife Lori of Hebron; two grandchildren, Damon Hayes and Grace Keeler, both of Creston; two sisters, Sandra Faust and husband Jim of Rising Sun, Indiana, and Kathy Buck and husband Gary of Gardner, Kansas; three nieces, Debbie Anderson and husband Ron of Aurora, Indiana, Amy Marino and husband Phil of Lexington, Kentucky, and Holly Thompson and friend Daren Kirkpatrick of Des Moines; a nephew, Phil Thompson and wife Melissa of Indianola; five great-nieces; one great-nephew; one great-great-niece; an aunt, Helen Blazek of Osceola; along with many cousins and a host of friends.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Irene Wurster; her husband Bobby Moore; her son Bobby Moore, Jr. and her ex-husband, Paul Kinyon.
We will forever hold the precious memory of Suzanne’s smile in our hearts.
May she be at peace in God’s loving care.
