Thomas Dean Reno, 26, 305 W. Adams St. Apt. 61, was charged 5:20 p.m. Monday on a Union County warrant for violation of a protective order at 310 N. Oak St.
According to a Creston Police report, Mandy Hummel contacted Union County Law Enforcement Center at approximately 12:39 a.m. Thursday to report that Reno violated a protective order by coming to her residence at 402 N. Oak St. Officers confirmed that a protective order was in effect that prohibited Reno from having any contact with Hummel. Officers also confirmed from both Hummel and other witnesses that Reno did come to her residence earlier in the evening.
Reno is being held awaiting bond hearing.

Cinnamon Lynn Williamson, 25, 705 W. Adams St. Apt. 2, was charged on a Union County warrant for first-degree harassment 6:36 p.m. Monday at Union County Law Enforcement Center.
According to a Creston Police report, Williamson posted on Facebook threatening Chevy Van Sauer and Kayla Hoffman. In the post Williamson said, “God I want to take a straight blade across both your throats,” and “and if anyone sees them let me know where they are or where they’re headed. I’m on a head hunt now for those (expletive) tweakers.”
Williamson was released on a $2,000 bond.
