Greater Regional Medical Center announces Matthew Bolinger, Doctor of Medicine, certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, joined the medical center’s staff in March.
Bolinger specializes in ear, nose and throat (ENT) procedures and clinical care and treatment.
“We are excited to be moving back to the Midwest. I chose to come to Greater Regional because we loved the community and Greater Regional. We are excited about the growth the medical center is experiencing,” Bolinger said. “I am excited to start a new full time ENT, sinus and allergy practice on campus.”
Bolinger attended Northwestern University where he received a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences. He next attended Ohio State University, College of Medicine, where he obtained his medical degree in 2002.
He completed an internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and Wake Forest University – Baptist Medical Center in general surgery. Bolinger completed his residency at the Wake Forest University – Baptist Medical Center with a specialty in otolaryngology. Bolinger most recently practiced in North Carolina.

Dr. Bolinger will have regular clinic hours as well as perform surgical procedures on campus.”
Bolinger will lead the effort to create a new full time service line for ENT, sinus and allergy at Greater Regional to provide a comprehensive array of services available locally. Bolinger will be co-located with Greater Regional Medical Clinics in Suite 200 temporarily and will be moving to the first floor with all Greater Regional Medical surgical specialists in the next several months. An open house to welcome Bolinger will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 11, in the Medical Arts Plaza. The public is welcome to attend.
