The Greater Regional Surgery Center has announced Bill Wharff, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), recently joined Greater Regional Surgical Specialists Clinic team in February.
Wharff attended Drake University in Des Moines, where he obtained his bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He next obtained a degree in nursing from Des Moines Community College and his master’s degree in nurse anesthesia at Minneapolis School of Anesthesia in Minnesota.
Wharff has been a CRNA since 1990 and has been practicing at Decatur County Hospital in Leon since 1995.
Wharff will be practicing anesthesia at Greater Regiona,l including steroid injections for lower back pain and for labor and delivery.
