Randy Culver, 66, of Creston died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Greater Regional Hospice Home in Creston.

Celebration of life services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at Powers Funeral Home, junction of highways 34 and 25, in Creston. The Rev. Tony Thurston will officiate the service. Burial will be at Summit Cemetery west of Cromwell. Open visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Randall Wayne Culver, son of Wayne Wilson Culver and Shirley Ann (Bray) Culver, was born July 18, 1949, in Creston. He was educated at Central High School in Phoenix, Arizona, and graduated in 1967.

On April 26, 1969, Randy married Margaret Evan Burr in Phoenix, Arizona. Randy worked at the post office in Creston for almost 30 years, retiring in 2011. He was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Creston.

Randy is survived by his wife Margaret of Creston; daughters, Sandra (Shane) McFarland of Haverhill and Crystal (Nick) Nevins of Eugene, Oregon; sons, Dennis (Jodee) Culver of West Branch and Marshall Weidman of Holiday, Florida; sister Kay Eagle of Cave Creek, Arizona; brother-in-law Gene Ellington of Cave Creek, Arizona; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and sister Laurie Ellington.
