HOUSTON, Texas — Tyler and Marcy Edwards of Corning announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Holly Danielle Edwards to Derek Craig Steinbring, son of Craig and Kay Steinbring of Fredericksburg, Texas.
Edwards is a 2005 graduate of Corning High School in Corning. She graduated from Iowa State University in Ames in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Edwards graduated from Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, in 2011 with a master’s degree in animal science and in 2013 with a doctorate in animal science specializing in ruminal microbiology and lipid metabolism. She is currently employed by Omega Protein in Houston, Texas, as executive manager of the analytical laboratory.
Steinbring is a 2005 graduate of Fredericksburg High School in Fredericksburg. He graduated from Texas A&M in College Station in 2009. Steinbring graduated from University of Texas’ School of Dentistry in Houston in 2013 with a doctorate in dental surgery and completed a two-year residency program in pediatric dentistry at University of Texas’ School of Dentistry in 2015. He is currently employed by Larry Caldwell Pediatric Dentistry in Sugarland, Texas as associate pediatric dentist.
The couple plan a Dec. 12 wedding in Fredericksburg and currently reside in Houston.
