Lori Lee Graham, 49, 609 S. Maple St., was charged on a Union County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and controlled substance violation 10:05 a.m. Monday at 219 N. Pine St.
According to a Creston Police report, at 10:15 a.m. April 18, officers responded to the Super Eight, 804 W. Taylor St., and identified the odor of marijuana emanating from room 209. Officers made contact with two occupants in the room, later identified to be Kyler Colten Cook and Graham. Officers located and seized several items within the hotel room, including several baggies of marijuana, containers and baggies containing methamphetamine residue, 16 Alprazolam pills without a prescription, electronic scales, several glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphetamine, packaging materials, $592 in U.S. currency and two cellular phones. Both subjects were found to be in close proximity to the physical evidence.
Graham was being held in Ringgold County Jail on $5,000 bond.

Donald Brown, 56, 517 New York Ave., was charged with public intoxication 1:14 a.m. Friday near the intersection of New York Avenue and West Union Street.
On Friday at approximately 1:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to New York Avenue just south of the railroad tracks for a male subject lying on the railroad. Upon arrival, officers contacted a male subject who seemed to be sleeping on the tracks. Officers spoke with the subject, moved him away from the railway and identified him as Brown by an Iowa ID. Brown appeared intoxicated and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. Brown was disoriented and unbalanced on his feet. Brown consented to a preliminary breath test, providing a sample at .164. Brown was taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Center.
Brown was being held in Union County Jail on $300 bond.

Timothy Giles, 401 W. Lucas Apt. 5, reported his vehicle was broken into and the driver’s side window was broken out and a fish finder, electric camping plug and dome light were taken from the vehicle between 9:30 a.m. May 10 and 12:15 p.m. Friday at 612 New York Ave.
Estimated loss is $260.
